![]() Unlike Rajpal, this is not a single note Nag Champa and every note is beautifully layered to make a wonderfully spicy and sweet scent. Shanthimalai Nag Champa: The distinguishing note in this one is Fennel. It's not only my favourite Nag Champa but my favourite incense overall at the moment. It's definitely more pungent than the yellow box Goloka Nag Champa and more floral heavy but I have a soft spot for florals. Goloka Frangipani (Cheater's inclusion): This one isn't marketed as Nag Champa but the scent is in the Nag Champa spectrum so I've decided to include this. The biggest difference I notice between this and the current Satya I have is that this has a fennel-like freshness but it's still a single note perfumed scent, lacking the layered profile of better products. Now I don't know what Satya Nag Champa of the olden days smelt like so I can't tell for sure that this is it. I feel like I have smelt this in their house and I'm also told she would give out packs of Satya nag champa in the olden days. Rajpal Nag Champa: When I first burnt this, I was instantly reminded of someone I know who is a fanatical devotee of Satya Sai Baba. Satya Nag Champa (BNG): It's a tad too sweet for my taste but unlike most other Satya incenses, it doesn't give me headache. (Randomly ordered, not indicative of preference) ![]() That being said, I will do my best and share my thoughts on the ones I've tried. I want to begin by saying I am a complete amateur and nowhere near as good as many others on this sub at describing aroma profiles or reviewing incense. ![]() Right column, top to bottom: Song of India Organic Nag Champa, Shanthimalai Nag Champa, Flora Nag Champa, Goloka Frangipani incense. Left column, top to bottom: Gurugee's Nag Champa, Rajpal Nag Champa, Goloka Nag Champa, Vishu Nag Champa, Satya Nag Champa (BNG).
